This old-styled coffee shop is along East Coast Road. Everything about this place is so “old school” and original. From the wall tiles to the tables & chairs, ceiling fans and the fact they still heat their coffee over a charcoal fire! In the morning the favourites are their custard puffs and cream horns. They were grabbed fast when they come out straight from the kitchen at the back. The buns are of simple varieties but they are so good! The kopi here is excellent, full bodied and thick with a slight bitterness! That’s the way I like it! The French Toast with the thick slab of butter and sweet aromatic handmade traditional kaya and half boiled eggs is a must too! Ohh………..sweet memories of my childhood!

Address: 204 East Coast Road. Opening Hours Tue–Sun: 8am – 4.30pm
(Closed on Mondays). Not sure if Chen Han Wei visits or not.
