Located near to the East Coast Park seashore, Leng Heng offers a wide array of BBQ seafood dishes.
The specialty of this stall is “Kiam Chye Ah” – Salted Vegetable with Duck Soup. Its piquant salty base is tinged with a bit of spiciness, totally awakening our appetite. I found it to be too salty though, will ask it to be toned down next time. The duck, salted vegetable, ginger, sour plump, tomatoes and chillies were all of high quality. The meat is so tender that we can simply shake off the bone!

Besides this dish, we tried their prawn fritters. It is hand-made with fish meat and water chestnut and then deep fried until it is crispy and golden. One bite and tasted great with the plum sauce they provided! We continue to reach for more pieces. The hong kong style steamed fish head is very huge and fresh! We were so amazed by the size of it and dear commented it could feed our family of 5! We loved the 3 dishes so much that we are already making plans to come back to try their other famous dishes. It’s amazing that so much can be done in such a tiny space. They are truely deserve to be Hawker Legends.
