Went back to Ellenborough Market Cafe after a long while as we have loved the high tea there. There were quite a lot of empty tables (hmm…..recession?). We were looking forward to the spread but we were pretty disappointed this time as i found that the food standard had dropped a lot.

Went down to the Illuma Shopping Mall at Bugis today. The mall is just opposite the Bugis MRT station. Most of the shops are still not open because the mall have not undergone its ‘grand opening’. The place is pretty empty with lots of wasted space.

We finally visited this shop at 24 Kandahar Street after heard about them for so long. There were no other customers when we went in. We bought the much recommended durian and kaya swiss rolls. Rich and Good Cake Shop makes theirs slim and long. 2 rolls for $13. Hmmm….. the vanilla sponge roll [...]
