Besides braised duck, Ah Seng Braised Duck Rice (亚成卤鸭饭) @ Serangoon Garden Market also sells a variety of braised food like pig skin, pig intestines, tou kwa etc. The stall also sells other food like stir-fried cabbage, bittergourd and soup.

The best part of the Ah Seng Braised Duck Rice (亚成卤鸭饭) was the teochew-style gravy. Braised using a variety of Chinese spices/herbs, such as blue ginger, garlic, licorice root, clove etc, the end result was a fragrant and tasty gravy that went very well with rice. The duck meat was tender and delicious. The pig intestines, infused with the aromatic gravy, tasted sweet and good.
I also loved the chilli sauce that came along with the food. Mildly spicy with a strong raw garlic taste, the chilli sauce complimented the food well.

Stir-fried cabbage
